Ecoskim Pool Skimmer
The award-winning, eco-friendly pool skimming device, the Ecoskim, has been given the green light by independent testing authority, Queensland Testing Laboratory. It means the Ecoskim complies with the Pool and Spa Suction Fitting Standard, AS1926.3-2010.

How it works
Ecoskim is connected via a flexible hose directly into the bottom of the existing skimmer box. It has a floating, self-adjusting mouth which will continue to operate down to 350mm below the coping. This allows much longer periods between top-ups.
To date, Ecoskim has provided up to 4½ years without the need for town water top-up. As the water is drawn into the device the floating mouth removes only the very surface of the water which provides a dramatically improved skimming action.
This action removes surface debris far more quickly than a standard skimmer.

The Ecoskim attaches to existing pool skimmer boxes to allow for greater fluctuations in pool water levels due to evaporation and heavy rainfall – while improving water quality. And further enhancements to the Ecoskim have ensured that nobody entrapment could occur under any foreseeable circumstances.
In addition to being at the safety forefront, the Australian designed and made Ecoskim has been made with the environment top of mind. Its environmental credentials saw it receive a Smart Approved Watermark and be named 2011 Product of the Year.
